Long-term Permastore Distributor, H2Flow have built their tallest tank in the village of Sainte-Claire in Quebec, Canada. This modular, bolted Glass-Fused-to-Steel standpipe has a height of 32.5m and a diameter of 11.1m with a capacity of 3,000m3. Storing potable water, the new standpipe replaces an adjacent existing concrete tank structure. This impressive project is an addition to an already extensive portfolio of tanks built and maintained by H2Flow.
Due to its modular design, PERMASTORE® tanks save installation time over a comparable size concrete tank as they can be built in less than a third of the time and only require minimal onsite machinery. The highly durable nature of the PERMASTORE® Glass-Fused-to-Steel coating, means it never needs recoating and requires low maintenance, resulting in reduced lifetime costs of maintaining the tank, once in operation.
Glass-Fused-to-Steel tanks continue to be chosen over concrete due to the asset value of this type of structure and the Features & Benefits of the PERMASTORE® performance driven Glass-Fused-to-Steel coating.
