First City-Wide Biogas Network in Germany

The city of Lunen in Germany is the first in the World to build and manage a Biogas Network to provide an ecological source of heating and electricity for the city. PERMASTORE^® Digesters were chosen for this important task of creating biogas equating to 6.8MW of power, enough to supply 26,000 homes. The Lunen network should deliver heat and electricity to customers by this December.
