Permastore continues to build a successful portfolio of projects in South America to support municipal infrastructure improvements for local communities.
The latest project was supplied by Permastore’s valued partners in Colombia; Grupo Empresariales Kit for the installation of a 3,000m3 capacity water tank including a Geodesic Dome Roof. The constructed tank is to provide potable water via an underwater spring for the town of Tenjo, and is expected to be operational at the end of June 2025.
This region of Colombia has in recent years suffered extreme water shortages and in 2024 emergency rationing of water had to be introduced in Bogota with many residences and businesses having no access to water one day each week.
The Tenjo project, together with many others that Permastore is working on in the Bogota region, will go a long way in alleviating the growing problem of water shortages within the region making it a valuable contribution to the local community.
