The market is also strongly regulated and controlled. Success of Glass-Fused-to-Steel manufacturers was always limited in this territory with the strong position of the locally based manufacturer.
At the end of 2013, a Distributor Agreement for the Czech Republic and Slovakia was signed between Morkus Morava and Permastore and the quality of the PERMASTORE® product is now successfully sold through this channel not only to the Czech Republic, but also to Slovakia, Poland and other Central European countries.
Morkus Morava is a young, dynamic company, active in the Czech market since 2003 and known under the current name since 2008. Morkus Morava started their career in the tank industry, focused on reselling second hand Glass-Fused-to-Steel structures in the Czech, Slovak and Polish market. From 2009, the company continued their expansion to include dismantling, renovation, re-location and installation of tanks and silos, rapidly learning and gaining knowledge of the product, potential problem areas and learning from mistakes made in the past by the original builders or manufacturers. From this renovation work, it was a small step to selling and building brand new Glass-Fused-to-Steel structures.
Following their success in the tank installation field, Morkus Morava, faced with the limitations of a single local supplier in the market place, decided to seek an alternative supplier to better serve their customers, offering price competitive, top quality products and service.
After carefully investigating possible suppliers and considering all the product features and benefits offered by all the main Glass-Fused-to-Steel providers worldwide and based on the hands-on knowledge they had gained of the Glass-Fused-to-Steel product and the market requirements, Morkus Morava made the decision to partner with Permastore in 2013. In 2014, Morkus Morava successfully completed the first phase of the reconstruction of their production and warehouse premises in Slavíč near Hranice in Moravia which offers increased capacity of all storage areas. In 2015, Morkus Morava completed construction of a new factory building and two manufacturing and storage facilities as well as expanding their Head Office. The new production facility was equipped with gantry cranes and a blasting and varnishing box and waterjet.
